Most West Africans are Israelites, East Africans are more likely to be Hamites; however, as it is written in the Bible, Israelites were confused for Hamites by the heathen from because to the heathen we look similar.

As it is written, many of the heathen are easily recognizable by their general genetic defects for example: leprosy of the skin (Edom) or from being progeny of incest (Ammon & Moab).
